Annie Murphy

Anne Frances Murphy aka Annie Murphy was born on December 19th, 1986. She is Canadian and was employed by Hollywood's film industry for a variety of projects. Most famously, she is known for performing the role of Alexis Rose in the CBC sitcom series Schitt's Creek, which was launched in the year 2015 before ending in 2020. In her performance, she got praise from critics and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace was in the city of Ottawa, Ontario Canada. Her parents taught at both schools. She attended Elmwood School in Ottawa where she performed in stage productions. Later, she was accepted into Concordia University, where her degree was theatre performance. Her next step was to attend classes at the Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory and was able to learn about acting. Then she moved to Los Angeles in her early teens and started her career in acting. Annie Murphy began her career in 2007 with the television Crime thriller film, Lethal Obsession. After that, she continued to perform and did small, extra roles in various films. The most popular ones are Story of Jen released in the year 2008. Lick, which came out in the year 2010. A second big hit was A Windigo Tale. In addition, she appeared on Canadian TV shows such as Good God, which aired in 2012, and Rookie Blue in the same. Her ability to do several projects is an impressive feat. Annie was a struggle to make a name for herself at the start of the career of acting. Additionally, her exceptional performances showed her to be the leading actress in the film and entertainment business.
