Kirsten Simone Vangsness is an American writer and actress who came into the limelight when she appeared as the character 'Penelope Garcia' in the cop-driven crime drama television series 'Criminal Minds'. Kirsten Vangsness played Penelope Garcia in the tv series Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, and in its two spin-offs: Criminal Minds: Suspect Behaviour and Criminal Minds: Suspect.
