Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Bolduan is most famously known as the anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. In the past, she was the co-anchor on the morning program of CNN, New Day as well as The Situation Room. Bolduan took part in CNN's award winning coverage of the presidential elections in 2012 and the 2016 presidential election. Bolduan has also been a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and other events in her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiation to increase the debt limit for the US, as well as discussions by the super-committee. Her work on general assignments has included reporting regarding the Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the Government's stimulus program in 2009. The journalist joined CNN the year 2007 to become a national reporter in CNN Newsource. As the CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she broke breaking news stories to the 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided news reports on features.
