Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England) she is an English artist and singer. She gained the attention of the world in 2010 through her hits "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses," British vocalist Ellie Goulding rapidly rose to the top of the charts with her enthralling electronic pop style. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. With her distinctive soprano voice and knack of writing captivating, yet emotional songs, Goulding, much like her predecessors Kate Bush and Imogen Heap is at the top of contemporary mainstream music and artistic, non-conformist pop.Goulding soon graduated from blogs to print media, garnering praise from mainstream publications like The Guardian and fielding offers from record companies. Polydor Records offered her a deal as major label. She began to prepare for her release.
